Vancouver Computer Image Tech Enterprises Inc., known locally as VanCITE or simply CITE (pronounced “sight”), is a Vancouver based playback equipment and graphics provider for television, motion picture and commercial productions of all levels. From large Hollywood feature film shoots to short commercial productions, we have the knowledge, equipment and expertise to help your production run smoothly and on budget. 

We have over 50 years combined experience providing video and computer playback services to Western Canada’s TV & film production industry. We have a crew of experienced playback coordinators, a team of accomplished graphic artists, and a roster of skilled on set technicians at our disposal to facilitate productions of all levels.

From a single cell phone to a multi screen hi-tech control room to a 1980’s living room, or anything else a creative professional can conceive, CITE has the ability to provide the end-to-end solution your production requires, from concept to capture.

CITE houses the largest inventory of Set Dec televisions and monitors in Western Canada. Our equipment inventory has styles spanning many decades - we have the equipment to match the look and feel of any production. But we offer much, much more than just TV screens. Our inventory gives you access to all styles and sizes of LCD monitors, LED walls, projectors, tablets, mobile phones & more. And if you need content for those screens, our team of graphic artists can precisely & accurately help create the look and feel of any production design imaginable.

Over the years we have done hundreds of different custom implementations, from spaceships to medical facilities to automobile dash instrument clusters to large stadium “jumbotrons” - almost anything you can imagine is possible. We can also work with most existing equipment at any location - our coordination and graphic services are available even if you don’t need to rent our gear.

Additionally, CITE can provide specialty services such as multi camera array vehicle driving plates, LED Wall PMP,  Video Assist, visual effects consultation, and repeatable head triggering using our custom QTake systems.
